Experiencing God's Love and Grace
We live in a world that feels increasingly out of control, and if we are honest, that reality is exhausting. From the rapid rise of agentic AI to escalating global conflicts, the avalanche of unsettling news shapes us in ways we may not even notice. But what if this collective loss of agency is actually an invitation? This message explores the profound idea that when human beings feel most powerless, we are most open to encountering the one who truly holds history in his hands. Rather than retreating into a smaller, more manageable world or grasping for power and influence, we are called to something altogether different: becoming agents of redemption, fueled not by fear or control, but by the transforming love and grace of Jesus. Drawing on the roots of the Anabaptist and Pietist traditions, we are reminded that faith was never meant to be inherited like a piece of land or performed like a civic duty. It is meant to be experienced, a genuine encounter with a God whose grace comforts the broken and confronts the self-sufficient alike. This is where our journey begins, and it is a journey worth taking together.
