John Dixon
LEAD PASTOR
John has a deep passion for the church to better reflect Jesus as it seeks first His Kingdom. He has a particular love for people who carry church-wounds, who seek to rebuild their faith around the life & teachings of Jesus. He & his wife Kymbriahna moved from Colorado in 2013. They now have 3 children, and enjoy gardening, camping, & going on adventures together.
Kent Byer
ASSOCIATE PASTOR
Kent helped plant Crest 20 years ago and has pastored in various capacities over the past three decades. He is currently a full-time middle school teacher here in Riverside. Kent is a graduate of Messiah College and Asbury Theological Seminary. He is a gifted mentor, and loves helping others discern God's will and presence. He & his wife Kelly have 4 children.
Kelly Byer
CHILDREN & FAMILY PASTOR
Kelly pays special attention to the spiritual formation of our children & their families, weaving together her experience as an educator, mother, & student of theology to grow families who follow Jesus together. She is a graduate of Texas Tech & Asbury Theological Univ, & currently teaches in an elementary school in Riverside. She & Kent have 4 children. She enjoys hiking, biking & reading.
Alice Musumba
DIRECTOR FOR PRAYER
Alice is leading our community to prayer. She is a graduate of the University of South Florida College of Public Health, and has been in public service for more than 20 years. She currently lives in Riverside with her husband Tony and their two children. Ask Alice about our Thursday night virtual prayer room, or how you might grow your relationship with God through prayer.

'Cat' originally hails from Michigan (the Midwest Coast!) and has taught Spanish and history. She currently works as a substitute teacher for RUSD.
In addition to directing our children's ministry, Cat also oversees our benevolence ministry. She and her husband Mark have three children.

Kristen Cuff
NURSERY DIRECTOR
Kristen has been with Crest since its initial planting and is humbled to be able to use the experience she has as a special needs preschool teacher to serve the Crest Littles (babies & toddlers). Through creative play & simple lessons, Kristen & her team's goal is to create a safe space for our kids to experience Christ's love & share it with their families. Kristen lives and works in Riverside with her husband Matt and young son.
Cheryl-Marie & Mike Hansberger
YOUTH MINISTRY DIRECTORS
Cheryl-Marie leads one of the largest nonprofits in our region. She is a graduate from CSU San Bernardino, Azusa Pacific Univ., and the University of La Verne. Mike is a small business owner and earned his degree from Cal Poly Pomona. Together, they have served as youth leaders for over 10 years, & have a heart for shepherding the next generation in God's word.
Kymbriahna Dixon
OFFICE ADMIN
Kymbriahna began serving as administrative support in 2023. She supports our ministry teams with the behind-the-scenes work of organization & communication. Kymbriahna has a passion for raising her three young children in the way of Jesus, bringing people together over a meal, and trying to stay out of the spotlight.
